Know what is 'Organic Fertilizer Jeevamrut, Ghan Jeevamrit, and Beejamrit' and their use and methods of making

Jeevamrut -

 
Jeevamrut is a liquid natural fertilizer. It helps    in improving the soil structure along with the   growth and development of plants. It provides    protection to plants from pathogens, and increases the immunity of plants.

Ingredients -

  1. Water -180 Liters
  2. Fresh cow dung (desi cow)  - 10 kg
  3. Cow urine - 5-10 Liter
  4. Gram flour - 1-1.5kg
  5. Jaggery - 1-1.5kg
  6. Soil (Peepal / Soil at the bottom of the pond) - 1 handful (100g)

Method of preparation - 

First, take a 200 liter drum, pour 180 liters of water in it, then mix 10 kg fresh desi cow dung in it, then add cow urine, gram flour, jaggery soil and stir it in a clockwise direction. After this, cover the mixture with a jute sack and leave it for 72 hours. Every morning and  evening for 5 to 10 minutes stir the mixture in a clockwise direction. The mixture is ready in 72 hours.

Method of use -

Spray 21 liters of Jeevamrut solution in 100 liters of water for 1 acre of field. Jeevamrut can be used 3-4 times in one crop at an interval of 21 days. After making Jeevamrut in summer, it can be used for 7 days and in winter it can be used for 8 to 15 days. After this the number of micro-organisms in Jeevamrut starts decreasing. Apart from crops, Jeevamrut can also be used on fruit trees. In the afternoon, 2 to 5 liters of Jeevamrut per tree is to be applied near the shade of the trees. Spray Jeevamrut twice a month on the trees. It is necessary to have moisture in the soil while using Jeevamrut.

   Ghanjeevamrit -

 

Ghanjeevamrit is a very effective dry organic manure, it can be applied at the time of sowing or even after 3 days of watering the field. It is used in place of chemical fertilizers to obtain nutrients in plants and improve soil structure.

Ingredients -

  1. Cow dung - 5kg
  2. Cow urine - 4-5 litre
  3. Gram flour - 1 kg
  4. Jaggery - 1kg
  5. Soil - 100g

Method of preparation - 

First of all take fresh cow dung, dry it in the shade, after 7 to 10 days when the cow dung dries up, take 100 kg of cow dung and spread it in the shade, then sprinkle 1 kg of gram flour and a handful of soil on it. . After this, 1 kg of jaggery is mixed with the urine of the indigenous cow and sprinkled on the cow dung, after which the mixture is mixed well. Leave it like this for 4-5 days, after that grind it finely and keep it.

Method of use -

 Apply one quintal Ghanjeevamrut in 1 acre field once or twice in one crop. Up to 2 quintals of Ghan Jeevamrut can be used in wheat crop. It can be used for 6 months.

 Beejamrit -


Beejamrit is used for seed treatment. With this, the plants can be saved from seed borne and soil borne diseases. Seed treatment increases the germination capacity of the seed. Seeds germinate quickly and in abundance. 

Ingredients for 100 kg seeds -

  1. Water - 20 litre
  2. Cow urine  - 5 liter
  3. fresh cow dung  - 5kg
  4.  Lime -   50g 
  5.   Baking soda - 50 g
  6.   Soil - 100g                                           

Method of preparation -

Put all the mixture in a vessel and mix it. After mixing, cover it with a cotton cloth and leave it for 24 hours. Use it after 24 hours.

Method of use -

Spread the seed in a shady place and sprinkle Beejamrut on it. After spraying, mix it with the seeds with light hands. Leave the seeds to dry for some time. Use for sowing after drying. Seed treatment should be done 24 hours before sowing.
